This project reimagines Watermoon Tea House by blending landscape and cultural placemaking. It introduces a raised timber platform for informal seating, reframes window openings to capture serene views, and transforms the reflective pool into an interactive feature with stepping stones. The material palette shifts to include locally sourced stone and seasonal timber screens, adding warmth and seasonality. A subtractive skylight punctuates the roof, allowing natural light to mark time and enhance the meditative atmosphere, creating an inclusive, grounded space that honors tradition and nature.
